Chicken & Dumpling: January 2012

http://chickenanddumpling.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html

Friday, January 13, 2012. What breakfast should really look like: poached eggs,. Hashbrowns, sausage, blueberries, and avocado. Yum. For 10 challenging days, we took on the (admittedly 3- or 4-week) cleanse. Although we gorged on the indulgent breakfast featured on the left). We definitely learned some interesting lessons about food and our eating habits during the cleanse. First, a winner and loser from the second half of the cleanse:. We spent the day making dumplings. We missed you,. 1 You can take pr...

Chicken & Dumpling: February 2012

http://chickenanddumpling.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html

Tuesday, February 28, 2012. Elizabeth wishes there were 2 more. They were yummy. Because we're high rollers, we decided to have a fancy prix-fixe Valentine's Day dinner at L'Étoile (you DO pronounce the last 'l' - saying "L'etoi" sounds TOO pretentious). For our first course, Elizabeth had the raw oysters, and Ben had the foie gras au torchon (talk about. Which describes how to serve foie gras au torchon. No trip to a nice French restaurant would be complete. Without a little (or a lot of) foie gras.

Monday, September 22, 2014. Bacon and Guac Grilled Cheese. French Onion Soup Grilled Cheese. Pork Loin Lasagna and Healthy Creamed Spinach. Beet and fennel salad. How did we ever make this - it has beets and it came after the cleanse! Salmon, butternut squash and dill mac&cheese. Part of the mac and cheese month! Mmm why don't we make this more often? Drizzly day, a nice mug of hot cocoa can be just what the doctor ordered. We had some extra dulce de leche from when we made empanadas.

My Busy Hands: a blog on knitting, crochet and life w/autism. October 19, 2007. Too long, I’m sorry! 8212; by busyhands @ 3:51 pm. With school starting, and my starting a new position (part-time) with the school system as a parent ombudsman, I’ve been way too busy this fall and unfortunately let this slip. I’ve also started and am working on the feet of a pair of socks out of Cascade Fixation using Gillingham’s new book. Knitting Circles Around Socks. 2 Comments ». Comment by Barbara Graves. Summer used to be boring. | My Busy Hands: a blog on knitting, crochet & life w/autism

https://busyhands.wordpress.com/2007/08/20/summer-used-to-be-boring

My Busy Hands: a blog on knitting, crochet and life w/autism. August 20, 2007. Summer used to be boring. 8212; by busyhands @ 11:27 am. I remember how summers used to stretch out into infinity – school would never start again. But that is because I was a child and bored, bored, bored. Now summers stretch into infinity again, but I have too much to do and too little time. I’ve found some new dishcloth patterns and have some new sets up in my Esty store:. 4 Comments ». 8212; August 20, 2007 @ 2:25 pm.
