Ebay is a scary place. Tuesday, August 28, 2012. Bug is the wild Pyrex hunter! He found a set of Pyrex made in England for my b-day! I'm going to have to find another cabinet! Tuesday, August 14, 2012. Mr Writing Spider and Other Garden Musings. A sure sign fall is around the corner is the appearance of the rather large Writing Spider. They are large, black and yellow, and I find them impressive. I'm not a big spider fan, but I can appreciate this dude living outside our window. Wednesday, August 8, 2012.

Ebay is a scary place. Saturday, September 29, 2012. My Bug, the Woodcarver. My Bug has ventured into the world of chainsaw carving, and has started on an Easter Island Moai Head carving. He made is own version of a handheld, air-powered chainsaw that looks pretty mean. My part will be decoration. We hope to have a collection of these we can line up below our garden. Ebay is a scary place. Thursday, April 30, 2015. This morning as I pulled weeds out of my garden and was cursing the devil grass growing in it, I remembered when I was young pulling weeds out of my Dad's garden and how bad I hated it. It would be the middle of summer, and to me at the time it was like child abuse! Now it's like therapy to me to be out early in the morning taking care of my own garden, and wondering how long I have with my own child before she is cursing me for ruining her day.
