Wednesday, July 17, 2013. Yellowstone and Island Park Day 1. Firehole Falls is in the background. Maleah rode all week in a carrying backpack designed for babies. She loved it up there; she and dad became even more attached than before. Even when she wasn't in the backpack she was in her dad's arms. Here is a photo of the place we stayed at Island Park Village Resort. The condo was very nice. The kids enjoyed the pool and playground. The view behind the playground was just so beautiful.

Thursday, July 18, 2013. Yellowstone and Island Park Day 2. We decided to visit the upper northern section of the park and then go east in into Lamar Valley in the evening to spot wildlife. The wildlife we saw is an additional post because we saw so many animals. We visited Mammoth Hot Springs, Albright Visitor Center, Historic Fort Yellowstone and Roosevelt Arch. Tuesday, July 10, 2012. We definitely chose the WRONG time to go to the zoo. It was really hot that day and we must have gone during nap time because ALL the animals were asleep. I didn't even take very many pictures because there just wasn't anything going on. The new Rocky Shores was really cool though. The kids liked the "white bear". Next time we'll have to go earlier in the morning on a cooler day. I believe the zoo in the summer is no fun, too hot! You can tell the animals dont enjoy the heat either.

Monday, June 25, 2012. It seems that the theme for this summer at our house is going to be W.A.T.E.R. Every morning (and night) Trayton asks to play in the water. He even likes to just. While I was getting my hair done the next day Trayton convinced Daddy to get out the water in the backyard. So out came the sprinklers for hours of fun. In fact as I type I can hear Trayton begging daddy to play in the water. PLEEEEASE! I am so excited for SUMMER and lots and lots of WATER. June 25, 2012 at 10:16 AM.

Here are just a few of the highlights of our last year. In June, Liam got to play T-ball. He had so much fun, and it's a hoot to watch the little kids! One girl would always swing herself completely around when she was trying to bat. Liam preffered to play in the dirt when he was in the outfield. We also have actual proof that he hit the ball. Thursday, April 16, 2009. A Busy Easter Weekend. We had a great, busy Easter weekend. Friday morning Snowflake had its annual Easter Egg Hunt. I read about it in the paper and everyone was talking about it so my kids insisted we go. It was really windy (when isn't it? The event was held at the golf course where they divided it up by age group. I took Mason over to the 1-2yr old section. They blew the whistle and they were off! Here he is with his 5 glorious eggs!
