Weekly Challenge: No Sugar. March 4, 2012. So I decided to try this out for one week. My restriction was that I could not eat any sugar. Because this is my diet these are my rules: Fruit doesn’t count as sugar and the week is Monday through Saturday. Around the end of the week I noticed that my energy had not crashed at around 4pm which is when I am usually lethargic and needing an iced chai. I was still awake and alert.
