子どもが 今、何に困っているか 、 なぜ困っているのか を明らかにした上で、支援が必要かどうかを見極める必要があります。 ずれ とは子どもが見せる姿の極端さであり、例をあげると人見知りが出るはずの年月例で まったく人見知りをしない や、逆に 極端な人見知り が見られる、また食事に関してならば 好き嫌い の範囲を超えた 白飯しか食べない というような姿のある場合です。 標準発達上は 人見知りをする という課題をクリアしていても、実際には極端な人見知りで、まったく視線を合わせようともしないなど標準からの明らかなずれが見られる場合、気になる姿は、 ずれ に現れます。 身体に症状として現れる チック症状 や病気が疑われるような ひきつけ などがあるかどうかを見る視点です。 しかし、決して忘れてならないのは、このような 気になる姿 に注目するのは、専門職にとって理解に困る子どもの行動を、すぐに発達障害と結びつけ、 障害児 というレッテルを貼るためではない、ということです。 Evidence based Child Care.
