Social worker and IGA officer sponsorship. You can sponsor a child at the Child of Hope school for just 15 ( 20. Per month. and we have other sponsorship opportunities too. In the Namatala slum, there is no provision for healthcare or social care, so most children do not eat a hot meal each day, and most do not attend state school because there are too many things to pay for. Child of Hope steps in to provide all these, plus clothes, shoes and a whole lot more as you’ve seen on this website.

Schooling that will lift them out of this. NAMATALA SLUM, UGANDA:. I shot this picture fast before the kids ran up to the camera - or away from it, you never can tell how they will react. No time to aim, just shot from the hip. Morning and ideally many of these youngsters would be at school, but it rarely happens, too many younger siblings to care for, or no money in the house to pay for the basic supplies that get you into school. It is Namatala slum, after all. That's me (above) in Malawi.
