Saturday, October 17, 2009. We've had an awesome Halloween prep time so far. But first. This week, I became a mothering GENIUS. I know, I know, I already am. But, for real. Riley would NOT let us brush her teeth for ANYTHING. EVER. And I'd had enough. Up until now. I thought, 'So, what does she love? So, I did this crazy thing. I thought, 'why can't she paint in the bathroom? So, we did just that. I said, "Riley, if I can brush your teeth, you can PAINT THE ENTIRE SINK! These ladies were some hot mamas!

Wednesday, November 11, 2009. Serious bonding with daddy. Well, I'm finishing day 9 of being sick and quarantined from my family. Thank God Russell is such a wonderful dad and hubby, and my friends are so thoughtful. Russell took 3 days off last week and spent all weekend with Riley; they've had more 'date nights' than I can imagine (Riley's started asking for 'date night with daddy at Beach Chalet! So funny, after a jaunt to the playground Russell said, nearly out-of-breath, 'Whoa, she climbs EVERYTHING!
