Friday, September 16, 2011. Tal Tal, Chile. This week we traveled south to Copiapo for a leadership meeting with our zones down there. We brought four missionaries with us and made it a road trip. Thursday, November 17, 2011. We all sat for a group picture before dinner. Elder Fowkes set the camera on a tripod and with a timer we sat for picture after picture. This truly is a most historic moment for our mission and one that I can only dream will happen again in the future with other mission presidents. How do you feed 155 missionaries without help from other church members? All the missionaries eating in the parking lot. Elder M. also helped with dessert. No talking here; just serious eating.

One Sunday as we drove home from Arica we stopped in Tocopilla to see our two missionaries there. We met up with Elder Richards and Elder McCusker for a quick visit and also were able to spend a few moments with Fernanda Gonzalez, who is preparing to serve a mission in Salt Lake City Central mission.
