The bannock recipe (courtesy of a postcard I looked at in Stromness, Orkney) is:. 1 cup beremeal (which isn't grown in the US - it is a relative of barley. Knitting and watching Due South. December 22nd, 2008. Finally watching more of season 3 for the first time (Strange Bedfellows and I Coulda Been a Defendant), and I just have to say:. Bob Fraser, singing "Watching the Apples Grow," while sitting in his office in Fraser's closet? This is why I love this show! Plus, Elaine is finally a police officer. We're proud of you, Elaine!
