I don’t often write blog posts opining on this or that China phenomenon because I still consider myself in the “learning phase” of my residence here. In which pollution levels in Beijing and much of China were quite literally off the charts, has thrown me for a loop–not in its severity, but in how the media reaction has actually fostered an apparent change in behavior among ordinary Chinese. Or The Economic Observer.
