ChineseWithEase: My How and Why of language learning.

http://chinesewithease.blogspot.com/2007/02/my-how-and-why-of-language-learning.html

Monday, February 12, 2007. My How and Why of language learning. To sum up the reason I don't do so well in class. 1 I find little motivation in a group class. 2 I find that a class' content is rarely suited to my level. 3 I find that even in a class I'm teaching myself. With all this in mind I've come up with strategies for teaching myself and just using my teachers as people to answer my questions. That's my first real learn by your self thing ask questions! Saturday, March 03, 2007. Big Review Lesson Update. Okay well I signed up to a new school for my visa and spent this week settling in and getting everything sorted out. Unfortunately all this bother means I didn't get time to do the things I wanted with my review lessons. Sorry to anyone who actually uses them. They are now up-to date. A few extra things changed as well:. I've got one extra idea that I'm working on. Old school portability. You'll see what I mean when I get the formatting sorted o...

Tracking my progress as I continue to learn Chinese. Plus other Chinese related rambling’s. Saturday, April 29, 2006. An end to the VideoHotPot's. It looks like there wont be any more VideoHotPot video's from ChinesePod. The two stars of the show have left Shanghai so the series has been shelved for the forseeable future. It's a pity, it was a good series. I used to look forward to each new episode. The episodes that are available are,. Episode 1 - The Market. Episode 2 - The Restaurant. I’m not really s...
