The training at IFS within these 4 weeks was mainly about correcting the errors of the project and getting used to the code. While doing that I was able to learn many new things such as using CVS, using the Oracle databases. We changed the sql queries in the data access layer to use the views rather than using the tables because it will enable restrict the privileges to different views for different users. Also we changed the sql statements in the DAL to get the appowner of the views. We can prevent the views being accessed by making restrictions on access to particular user roles. Fifth month at IFS.
