Blogness to the Max

Wednesday, April 23, 2008. In chapter five, Ruth is characterized as another Hagar: an insestuous and obsessive freak. Pilate is characterized as a headstrong, but caring individual (just caring in an extreme sort of fasion.) Both of their characterizations represent a women's situation in this story and reveals mankind's ironic misconception when it comes to women. Thursday, April 17, 2008. How do the characters vary in their process of reflection? Quinten reflects on his past a little differently than ...

Blogness to the Max: Sound and the Fury

http://www.chipmonkey08.blogspot.com/2008/04/sound-and-fury.html

Wednesday, April 16, 2008. Sound and the Fury. My opinions rarely have any value, but here I go again anyway:. The Sound and the Fury is unlike any book I have ever read. The style is extremely confusing throughout the book, jumping in and out of thoughts without warning. The author depends on the reader to determine between a character's thoughts and what is actually happening. And Billy's state of being stuck in time to revisit instances of his life. Blogness to the Max: Civilized Savagery

http://www.chipmonkey08.blogspot.com/2008/03/civilized-savagery.html

Monday, March 10, 2008. Apparently not. This respectable character, whether it was through his search for power or ivory, transforms to be the head figure of the savages, with heads of his followers speared outside his chambers. Marlow is willard in Apoc. 24/30 - like the java script. March 12, 2008 at 10:15 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Big Fedex Box. I am a student. A student. A stoodent. A stewdint. Blogness to the Max: Blog #3 - Morality Just Got Burn'd!

http://www.chipmonkey08.blogspot.com/2008/01/blog-3-morality-just-got-burnd.html

Thursday, January 31, 2008. Blog #3 - Morality Just Got Burn'd! In the beginning it was all about the battlefield. Iago complained of Cassio's appointment despite all of the recommendations that supported this so called "moral pyromaniac." The paradoxical title does not seem to fit Iago, however, for all his actions were most definitely immoral- simply, evil in fact. But of course, I guess the manipulation of others to further your desires of revenge is obviously. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The Big FedEx Box: Faulkner Reading schedule

http://thebigfedexbox.blogspot.com/2008/03/faulkner-reading-schedule.html

The Big FedEx Box. Wednesday, March 26, 2008. The Sound and The Fury Reading syllabus. The syllabus dates indicate the day that you should do the assignment. Use the Faulkner website link. That link will be extremely useful. 3/27- 3/28: Read the first chapter, “April Seventh, 1928.” Read Faulkner’s introduction to the text from the website. The link is listed under Faulkner in the link list. Finish the novel over the break, or read it before you go (which is my suggestion). Blah, blah, blah.

The Big FedEx Box. Tuesday, January 22, 2008. Blog 3# - Moral Pyromaniac? Iago, as Harold Goddard finely remarked, is always at war; he is a moral pyromaniac setting fire to all of reality. In Iago, what was the religion of war, when he worshiped Othello as its god, has now become the game of war, to be played everywhere except upon the battlefield.". To respond to this passage, one should mostly focus on the shift from a religion to a game. How would you prove that this insightful comment is true?

We give you what you want! Since the internet boom of the 1990's, there is no doubt in our minds that the internet is now the main source of information people use when locating businesses and services. The days of the telephone directory are well and truly numbered and soon no one will be using them at all. These days, more than ever, advertising is paramount in keeping a small business alive and our aim is to help small businesses advertise their business online without it costing them an arm and a leg.
