Chi Rho Live Journal: Which Way the Wind Blows
http://chirholive.blogspot.com/2009/07/which-way-wind-blows.html
Thursday, July 23, 2009. Which Way the Wind Blows. And now, compelled by the Spirit, I am going to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there." -Paul. Through the Spirit [the disciples] urged Paul not to go on to Jerusalem. In studying what the Bible says about the Holy Spirit for a sermon, I was reminded of this strange little movement in Acts. Did the Holy Spirit want Paul to go to Jerusalem or not? Hi just dropping by here. have a nice day! Http:/ kantahanan.blogspot.com/. Learn quran online ...
Chi Rho Live Journal: A Memorial Service
http://chirholive.blogspot.com/2009/05/memorial-service.html
Monday, May 25, 2009. There are a lot of similarities between Memorial Day and our Communion Service. Everyone in church services today has someone who loved him or her enough to lay down his life on the cross for their sins. And so we take time out of our schedules and our routines and we gather to remember. We remember he was “pierced for our transgressions” and “crushed for our iniquities.”. Chi Rho Live Journal: One Faith, One Body, No Lines
http://chirholive.blogspot.com/2009/03/one-faith-one-body-no-lines.html
Friday, April 3, 2009. One Faith, One Body, No Lines. Everyone usually goes to the church that they think are doing things the best and have the best grasp on Scripture. But for pride and self-glorification, people argue that their sect is the best and put others down rather than try and build one another up. This is nothing new. It was happening in Corinth. Paul addressed it in 1 Corinthians 1. Was Paul crucified for you? Were you baptized into the name of Paul? So let us not be like those who divided t...

Chi Rho Live Journal: June 2009
http://chirholive.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 8, 2009. America earned the “consumeristic” label long ago. We consume, gorge, and stuff ourselves until the point of bursting. But this consumption is not limited to food alone. We consume goods, resources, and at times each other. We are gluttonous cannibals, devouring one another. This phrase, “ate the pieces,” is so stark—as though the defamers are literally removing parts of people with their words. But we have similar idioms in English:. Tearing them a new one. Labels: ate the pieces.

Ramiah: July 2007
http://ramiahadoption.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 30, 2007. Our church family is awesome! Ramiah will be a blessed child to know all of these wonderful people. Thursday, July 26, 2007. We have a new baby. I am of course so ecstatic, but it is still a waiting process that is agonizing. We have one picture and a few pages of history on our daughter, but that is all we have to hold on to. I eagerly wait to hold and to touch the soft baby that waits for me in Ethiopia. Tuesday, July 17, 2007. I have lists for before travel, things I have to get...

Ramiah: June 2008
http://ramiahadoption.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 10, 2008. We had such a great time at Ramiah's birthday. She really enjoyed her cake. It took her a little while to know it was okay to just dig in and eat all she wanted, but then she did and we ended up cutting her off. It all turned out fine and we stayed safe, but it did make for a memory. Thanks to your continued prayers, Ramiah continues to grow strong and healthy and we are blessed to have her a part of our family forever. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Proudly serving unique pints of commentary throughout the week. salut! Tuesday, February 24, 2009. Soccer, music, my new job. With the church retreat last weekend, I wasn’t able to watch any soccer. However, after catching up on scores and highlights, I do have a couple of observations:. Barca are having a wobble, but can Real sustain their form? Inter will win the scudetto, but the race for second will be as exciting as any race for the title. What a shame spiral Facebook is. I keep my circle of fri...

There are several albums that highlight the late high school to early college years:. Superstar Carwash by Goo Goo Dolls. Frosting on the Beater by the Posies. Never Said by Liz Phair. http://theculturaltaproom.blogspot.com/2009/03/damages.html
Proudly serving unique pints of commentary throughout the week. salut! Wednesday, March 25, 2009. I want to bring to your attention a TV show that has caught my eye "Damages". When i first heard about this new show back in July 2007 i began to think l egal. Thrillers are silly and boring. They just are.period. For the life of me I cannot figure out how so many people get enraptured by Law and Order, but i watched it anyway and below is what i thought. So when I first saw the previews of FX. The season tw...
