Churchill Does Asia: August 2008
http://churchilldoesasia.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 25, 2008. Last weekend a group of a few of us went to this island named Wando, where we spent most of the day at the beach, listening to Korean men and women scream at waves about 2 feet tall. Wait, WE play taxman? I looked at MIke. I don't know how to play Taxman. Me:"No, I can't play taxman.",. Him: "Ohhhh.you go on stage! Me: "What do I say? Him: "You go on stage! The last picture shows the comedian dancing. I'm not sure if this is before or after he decided to kiss me. Other pictures i...

Churchill Does Asia: Peep Jousting is Sweet
http://churchilldoesasia.blogspot.com/2009/04/peep-jousting-is-sweet.html
Thursday, April 16, 2009. Peep Jousting is Sweet. As those good Christians out there have already figured out, Easter was on Sunday. Of course, I almost forgot, until my wonderful Mema sent me a Easter package full of goodies. Included in this package- other than some chrontron bunny ears- were my one time nemeses: Marshmellow Peeps. Now, I know what some of you idiots are thinking out there; "I love Peeps! Churchill Does Asia: March 2009
http://churchilldoesasia.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 8, 2009. Animals Coffee = Weird. Well, it's finally happened. Korea has reached a new high with an idea that could make any struggling country rich in tourism, such as a young French Polynesia, or even France. We shall start with the entryway. It is subtle, to say the least. Once you've tossed the ugly ones aside, you can move on to your table, and grab the small cute ones and place them on your lap. An opportune time for pictures. This is Pebbles. Mike really took a liking to her.

Churchill Does Asia: A Trifecta of Korean Cultural Documentaries
http://churchilldoesasia.blogspot.com/2008/11/korean-documentary-duo.html
Thursday, November 6, 2008. A Trifecta of Korean Cultural Documentaries. 1) The No-legged Homeless Man. Above is an example of the common Korean beggar. If you're thinking I'm culturally insensitive, think again, I didn't take the picture. Usually, the men also have a matching scooter to hold an amplifier playing traditional Korean music. The weirdest thing about this behavior, is that ALL male Gwangju beggars have chosen this as their fail-safe method of collecting funds. With a phenomenon as popular as...

Churchill Does Asia: Hanguk Sans
http://churchilldoesasia.blogspot.com/2008/12/hanguk-sans.html
Friday, December 5, 2008. This is a view out of the cave. The buddhism ran thick at Seoraksan. So much so that they built one the size of a small building at the base of the trails. It had a nice presence. Although this post has been centered mostly around Seoraksan, I've really only been there once. Most of my time hiking has been around these parts:. Churchill Does Asia: September 2008
http://churchilldoesasia.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 26, 2008. Well, not really. He has managed to fit some animal cruelty into his schedule. Recently, he bought a puppy, and has tied it up to a pile of trash. In his spare time, he comes out to beat it with a large stick. This is also the dog we have been dognapping, of course, for its own safety. Little Jimmy giving the thumbs up to the camera? I imagine this is his final goal with the gun [see below]. Of course, Mike is playing the role of the six week old puppy. Here's one of the cafés:.

Churchill Does Asia: October 2008

Thursday, October 9, 2008. Our New Security System. Last week we had a brand new security system installed. New locks with big metal bars and digital keypads on them, which make beeps and whirls when you hit a succession of numbers. Except, he was under a desk, so he looked like this:. As you can see he was very large. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Justin 2: The Departed. Ted's New Thai Life. The Artwork of Jason Hawk. Picasa Web Albums - Jenny. Kampot, Koh Kong. Churchill Does Asia: Busan: Fireworks & the Adventures of Sad Panda
http://churchilldoesasia.blogspot.com/2009/04/busan-fireworks-adventures-of-sad-panda.html
Sunday, April 26, 2009. Busan: Fireworks and the Adventures of Sad Panda. Last weekend, a crew of four of us decided to bus to the second biggest city in Korea to see the beaches, hills, and eat some really good burritos. Yes, we did these things, but they're not very interesting to write about, so consider that part of the entry finished. Option 1: out the tiny window in the back left of the bus using Mike for a blocker,. Option 2: Into an empty beer pitcher- wide mouth of course- using Mike as a blocker.
