This was 'Chitra Santhe' where people sold art in the same way as vegetables. Unframed paintings were flying all over and passersby had to put them back in place. There were so many recopies of Ravi Verma that one began to doubt the worth of the great artist. I doubt it, looking at the kind of works dislayed. Mediocre art at reasonable prices? Maybe But does the public know it?
