More remarkable is the fact that Ganesh who is 3 years is following the footsteps of his cousins. he reels off the names of such rare ragas like Manji and Janaranjani. Ganesh is the confluence of good training, judgment and his own inner coiled spring of latent ability. Each piece he presented seemed to surpass the others. In Ganesh's fingers, the instrument poured melody.(he) covered 3 octaves effortlessly and brought out its elegance in no uncertain terms.

Chitravina Ganesh, world-record setting slide instrumentalist and vocalist, is the grandson of the legendary Gottuvadyam Narayana Iyengar. He stormed into the world of carnatic music even at the tender age of two and a half, just like his illustrious cousin, Chitravina N Ravikiran. Trained by Chitravina maestro Narasimhan (his maternal uncle), Ganesh was able to identify and render around 225 Ragas and 175 Talas and answer numerous other technical questions with ease.
