活在加州陽光下

丹翠雨林(Daintree Rainforest)是世界上最古老的熱帶雨林，在凱恩斯以北兩小時車程。經朋友推介我們報名參加 Cooper Creek Wilderness. 這一頭悠閒地在曬太陽，另外我們隱約看到一頭小鱷魚，飛快地游往岸邊。 午餐後導遊帶我倆進雨林，她仔細地介紹林中一草一木，好多植物從遠古年代生存至今，有着獨特的習性。例如有種cycad雌雄分株，在樹幹內部分秘養料吸引昆蟲。雄性和雌性互相調節溫度，雄性增加溫度，趕昆蟲往雌性的樹幹繼續覓食，完成授粉！ 導遊說這雨林住了幾隻鶴鴕(cassowary)，都有自己的名字。她說着鶴鴕的趣事，過了一會我們就遇上了鶴鴕！ 鶴鴕爸爸帶着兩隻鶴鴕寶寶，爸爸走得遠遠的，小鶴鴕比較好奇，看了我們好幾眼。 在雨林走了兩小時，看到好多珍奇的植物，沒有導遊解說倒不知道這些植物如此特別。 Cooper Creek Wilderness是家族生意，導遊一家大小住在這兒。大屋附近就是Cooper Creek，我們可以下去游泳。河水很冰涼，我們沒游多久。 苦難角有個長長的海灘，我們慢慢走着，欣賞風景。 瀑布分兩層，上面成梯級狀，我很喜歡&#122...尾站是Yungabur...
