Looking at the Big Picture: November 2009
http://theviewfromhome.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Looking at the Big Picture. A blog by me about me and my family. Sunday, November 01, 2009. Daylight Savings ended. We're in the middle of Fall and it feels like full steam ahead to the holidays. Do I get cracking on Christmas shopping (one of my sisters is probably done with hers by now) or is it time I get this blog updated? It got me back on this blog for starters! Jonah noted that we have 10 pumpkins scattered around. I noted that all the pumpkins were free! Decorated with Sharpie markers:. Noah felt...

Looking at the Big Picture: Table For Three
http://theviewfromhome.blogspot.com/2010/02/table-for-three.html
Looking at the Big Picture. A blog by me about me and my family. Tuesday, February 23, 2010. First post of 2010. I have no excuse. I'm just going to blog. James is now in Africa, but his training period since October provided the boys and I training as well. We started using Skype and chatted via Facebook; he was able to come home every few weeks; and we got to spend the big holidays together. Now it's just the three of us for a while. We keep it pretty low key.and one day at a time. Hoss's is not a fanc...

Looking at the Big Picture: Some Summer Fun
http://theviewfromhome.blogspot.com/2009/07/some-summer-fun.html
Looking at the Big Picture. A blog by me about me and my family. Monday, July 27, 2009. Another year of Comic-Con just wrapped up back at home. Another year that we didn't go; we haven't gone since Noah was born. It was probably for the best because the event has gotten too big for us to enjoy. It hasn't stopped us (James) from keep up with this genre. This is the actor who played Darth Maul; Ray Park (he's got a great English accent). He's Snake Eyes in this summer's G.I. Joe film.

Looking at the Big Picture: April 2010
http://theviewfromhome.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Looking at the Big Picture. A blog by me about me and my family. Monday, April 05, 2010. A Spring Walk in the Park. Noah suggested we go Friday, the first day, because it would only get more crowded during the weekend. When did he get so logical? It was too early in the season and day for out-of-towners to be there, wasn't it? Nearly an hour later we were in the park and rushing to the story room. I knew we were too late. We would have to wait until the 4 pm program. As soon as Jonah and I were in a car ...

Looking at the Big Picture: I Got Tired
http://theviewfromhome.blogspot.com/2009/05/i-got-tired.html
Looking at the Big Picture. A blog by me about me and my family. Monday, May 25, 2009. I can also blame Facebook. There was hardly anything in the display cases and the woman behind the counter was less than helpful. Halfway down the street I saw James approaching and at the same time found another bakery so I darted in. After a bit of patience-trying (due to a couple who could not decided what they wanted and had to ask what was in EVERY bun even though everything was clearly labeled!

Looking at the Big Picture. A blog by me about me and my family. Thursday, April 09, 2009. Our Spring Break started today. It's an odd schedule around here: two days this week, the weekend, and one day next week; everyone goes back on Tuesday. I kind of like it because it's less days for me to plan things to keep the boys entertained. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Looking at the Big Picture. A blog by me about me and my family. Wednesday, February 25, 2009. He Listens From the Backseat. I don't yell bad words or make any gestures when other drivers on the road are not curteous. The worse thing I usually blurt out is "get off the phone! I really don't like that habit of driving and using the cell phone. I put away my phone and waited for the light to turn green. They listen.and remember. But before that, here is the best keeper of the year! Trying to turn the table...
