April 16, 2013. The Airport: Far from home. Stepping onto foreign soil, with a half dazed, half amazed expression on my face, the flight to Japan was the longest flight I had taken in my life. My classmates and I were high on anticipation and curiosity; it was an unbelievable experience to be sharing with my friends. The long flight was definitely going to be worth it, no regrets. April 16, 2013. My stay in Japan was definitely one of the most culturally diversifying experiences of my life. The Japanese culture is so breathtakingly beautiful, it was almost overwhelming for me sometimes during my stay. I was amazed by the beauty of the country and the respectfulness of the people. April 16, 2013. One of the things I was most anticipating from my trip to Japan was the food, and I received more than I bargained for! My diet, in Japan, was outstanding, delicious and everything I could ever hope for. Everything, from the presentation to the delectable tenderness of the fish was pleasing to the senses.
