We got (just) married. I guess my addiction to Korean series/movies extended too far that even the much talked about variety show "We got (just) married" got my eyes glued to my internet. What's more exciting is it's currently showing in Korea so I don't get to watch the complete series thus it keeps me in suspense. I remember the old times when we satisfy our shabu-shabu cravings going to Marina Bay. It's so amazing how it transformed into a remote place for eating and bowling to now a busy high-end tourist destination in Singapore. Back to reality, the workplace is stressful more than ever with all the transitions going on. So when my colleagues asked me to join them for a dinner, I said yes. It's about time that I break the usual weekday home-office routine. And we had soft ice cream too! Until our next makan!

CSC Run by the bay 2013. My expectations were high but unfortunately I wasn't prepared for the inclined trail and the scorching heat of the sun. Big mistake of skipping the first water station, I was so thirsty as I reached the 2nd water station. The last 1km seems near yet so far LOL but I did it! It's more fun in the Philippines - Villa Escudero. I had a dream. to have my own villa hahaha. Three weeks ago I went back home for just 3 days so I can visit our house and see my Kuya. We make it a point to have the same schedule whenever we go back to the Philippines. It was my sis-in-law's birthday so I teased her on where she would treat us. She mentioned Villa Escudero, and I said wow! It's quite popular and I haven't been there. Going places is my cup of tea so I was looking forward to our trip.

Tokyu Hands in Singapore. I knew about Tokyu Hands from a friend who frequently travels to Japan. I was intrigued when she said it was like Daiso, except that the items and prices are on the high-end. True enough, the concept is like Daiso because of the variety of items in store, it's like a one-stop-shop. The big difference is they are all made in Japan. Quality wise they are way better and of course pricier. These hacomo box and ki gu mi wooden art caught my attention. I will surely come back next time.

Finally at Tim Ho Wan. I was looking forward when Mrs. V invited me for dinner at Tim Ho Wan. I never knew that their menu was limited, well that's my opinion of course. I let her do the ordering. And she went overboard. For one I don't eat pan fried carrot cake so I can't judge the taste. The rice with chicken, mushroom and sausage was delicious! I like that it was steaming hot and the flavors went down to the rice. Yummy! The baked bun with pork bbq! So this is the rave all about! The food was all good!
