Friday, August 22, 2014. غُربة حتى الجنّة. أنا في المستشفى، مُغطاه بملاءة زرقاء صفيّة ونقيّة كالسحاب، قد طُهِرَت بطارد الملوثات حتى لا أزداد مرضاً، فلا يُعتّب باب جسدي أي مكروب آخر. يمُر الناس أمام غرفتي وأنا أُحدّق بالباب أتلهف زائراً، المستشفى صاخبة ومليئة بالمرضى والأصحّاء كليهما، لكن لا أحد يمر عليّ. المكان مُزدحم لكنّي وحيدة، المكان مُبهج لكنّي مهمومة. تبدلت نظراتي، وجّهت وجههي ناحية الأرض سائرة وسط الجموع مستسلمةً لواقع أني أصبحت غريبة.
