Im the Devils candy, boys. Trust me. Dec 28th, 2011 at 11:00 PM. Many of you knew my mom. Through her own journal or mine. Im sorry to say that Carol died last Thursday (December 22) after a two-year battle with breast cancer. Living independently and on her own terms was always important to her, and she got to do exactly that until the last few days she was alive. Here is a link to Carols obituary. Every once in a while, I wonder if I'm insane for volunteering at the rabbit rescue on top of my already very full schedule, and on top of being exhausted from carrying around the kid. Then I go to a Care Day (where we clean cages, trim nails, brush furry bunnies, and generally love on the little fuzz-butts), and see something like this:. And there's no question. I love those bunnies.
