They moved their tails up and down to swim fast through the water. Their dorsal fin cuts through the water and is great for holding on. Dolphins like to copy peoples behavior. So instead, I brought home some press-on nails. The girls were so excited. First we soaked their nails, then cleaned and filed them. Then we applied the 'fake nails'. The girls were in heaven! Wednesday, July 30, 2014. I'm ashamed to admit, that last night I just lay on the couch in defeat. When Ed came home from work he thought he was alone, because it was so quiet. He helped with the printer and labels for Girls Camp, and I felt better. Check one thing off of my list. It occurred to me late last night, that if I would "just do it", I could start checking more things off my list, and I would feel better. That's what I will be doing from here on out. Get it done, and cross it off the list.

Friday, May 4, 2012. Friday ReMix: Striped Shirt to Skirt. I snipped off the the top portion right at the armhole opening. It was the right amount of fabric to create a nice size waist casing. I used 5/8" elastic. I love that a button remained after the top chop (just wanted to say that).
