Sunday, November 28, 2010. Calling All UM Alums. Now that Randy Shannon is not pictured- - Miami must make a CRITICAL choice. Are they going to be a part of major college football or are they not? It's as simple as that. Miami needs to hit a home run with their next coaching hire. This cannot be done on the cheap. To me, the key is to tap into their NFL alumni base. Monday, August 30, 2010. This week, I have not one, but two fantasy football drafts (not pictured). It's an annual rite of passage for any football fan. For me, the draft is the best part of the fantasy season, it's all downhill after that. In terms of male bonding (or for really cool females who play fantasy sports- - such a pig I am! There's nothing quite like a fantasy draft. During the draft, everyone thinks they're an expert. It is scorn masked as a backhanded compliment. It's a very simple concept.

Monday, September 27, 2010. RIP Wildcat Offense- Sept. 21, 2008-Sept. 26, 2010. We are gathered here today on a somber occasion. We are saying goodbye to an old friend, the Wildcat offense (not pictured). Wildcat, we loved you so. You brought our town joy. You tricked the Patriots and made the Dolphins relevant again. You died tragically, on national tv, against the hated Jets. Oh Wildcat, you quirky little formation. You were such a charmer. We thought you'd last forever. It was fun while it lasted.

Monday, March 29, 2010. The Power Of Teamwork. Great picture, huh? I will admit, I wasn't fully inspired by this year's Duke team, until I saw them in person. My passion and ethusiasm for Duke hoops, had slightly started to wane heading into this season. I couldn't put my finger on why. I felt guilty. Was I bad fan? I started to question Coach K's motives a bit. Was he too focused on the Olympics? Perhaps his heart wasn't in it like it used to be? And then I saw them play in person. In a word, together.
