Friday, December 6, 2013. The Family Stone is on, my fireplace is roaring, there is a hot pot of coffee on, and Luke is finally taking a nap. Everything is right in the world. To top everything off, I have finals next week and I had papers due this week. I thought school was difficult before and for some crazy reason it would be easier this time around, but I was wrong. Saturday, January 11, 2014. We're Going on a Duck Hunt. Ok well not me, but Jackson and his Dad went on a duck hunt, Jackson's first actually. He came home excited and loaded down with stories. He told me everything about waking up super early, backing the boat into the water, putting out decoys, using your duck call to make the ducks come and then finally shooting! Friday, June 29, 2012. Show us your nursery. Well it's nursery time at Kelly's Korner. This is by far the most special room in my house. Much time was spent finding the perfect things to put in this room. All of the furniture was stained or painted by Chris. The baby bed is the same bed I slept in as a baby, as well as my brother and niece. Of course there was no better theme than fireman/firetrucks (Chris is a fireman). The crib that keeps giving.
