They can't send him home because the seizure meds are effecting his respiratory status. He is stable, and his O2 saturation is great even on his usual 1/4Liters O2. However, Friday morning his blood gas was 80. That's pretty high. It means he's not expelling his CO2. Also he's acidotic. They had to put him on a high flow cannula at 8Liters! We wanted a move-in-ready 4-5 bedroom house in our current neighborhood. Well, that's nearly impossible to find. In fact, I'm certain we snagged the only. The sellers are amazing ladies who have lots of skills and have taken great pride in their home. The sellers have also been so kind to us. We are so lucky!
