Friday, 22 October 2010. Left Chicago after I ad my aircut (put that in for you Steve) and travelled onto Denver overnight on the California Zephyr ( one hell of a bumpy ride) 1,038 miles. Used Denver as our base for a trip to the Rockies, all I can say is that it was absolutely stunning. Saw quite a bit of wildlife prairie dogs, abert squirrels, elks, deer, blue jays and bald eagles.
