Thursday, January 27, 2005. It was Australia Day yesterday" announced Red Hen as she was picking a juicy snail to bits. "Is that when they eat turkeys? Posted by a Straw Bale at 9:45 PM. They are an opinionated lot, with Red Hen, White Leghorn, Mother Bantam, Speckled Bantam, Little Bantam and Boy Bantam, and spend most of their days wandering around the yard, eating anything that comes their way, and occasionally laying an egg.
