Jane Eats Edinburgh: October 2010
http://janeeatsedinburgh.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, 14 October 2010. Shilla, Dundas Street. My gastronomic trek across Asia – via the good establishments of Edinburgh, of course - continued with chopstick-flourishing gusto last night at Korean restaurant Shilla. Food-wise – in the opinion of this incorrigible freebie lover - things kicked off most auspiciously indeed when a variety of appetisers arrived at the table – radish in a sweet chilli sauce, fried aubergine, potato salad and my personal favourite, beansprouts in a nutty dress...To pick a...

Bee´s Travel Journal: June 2014
http://beetraveljournal.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Bee´s Travel Journal. Monday, 30 June 2014. What to Buy this Week: Jelly Shoes. For the What to Buy this Week section I bring more of a debate than an actual buy. I keep seeing people wearing these jelly. Shoes in the city, and I am really not sure I agree much with this trend. I mean, when I was a kid I used to wear. These days I see people wearing heeled. Wearing them with normal outfits and even with socks. For me these jelly shoes are the equivalent of wearing Cloggs. And unless you are a fashionable.

gourmet lass: May 2010
http://gourmetlass.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
I have the simplest tastes, I am always satisfied with the best". Friday, 21 May 2010. I didn't used to be the kind of person who loved cheese. My first cheese experience was as a small child and it was Smoked Cheese from Summer Isles Foods. My family's business. I was probably too wee to enjoy the strong smokey flavour and the intense texture because the rest of my childhood cheese consisted of Dairylea slices and mini-babybel. Hardly cheese at all. And Wester Lawrenceton Farm. If I only had to eat one ...
