Chop Chop Co-Op: Simple Sprite Cake

http://www.chopchopco-op.blogspot.com/2008/06/simple-sprite-cake.html

Empty what's full and fill what's empty. Tuesday, June 17, 2008. This recipe is from Bakerella. Which is a great baking blog if you haven't seen it. Anyway, this is the cake I'd make for Logan's upcoming birthday if he wasn't allergic to eggs and if we could use boxed cake mixes anymore. So, make it and let me live vicariously! 1 white cake mix. 3/4 cup vegetable oil. 1 box instant vanilla pudding (3 oz. size). 8 oz can of Sprite (the mini one). Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Recipe amended from here.

Chop Chop Co-Op: Rolled French Bread and Mashed Potato Cinnamon Rolls

http://www.chopchopco-op.blogspot.com/2008/06/rolled-french-bread-and-mashed-potato.html

Empty what's full and fill what's empty. Sunday, June 22, 2008. Rolled French Bread and Mashed Potato Cinnamon Rolls. When I heard about Logan's egg allergy, I started noticing how many of my kids' favorite foods have eggs in them. So here are a couple of yummy eggless bread recipes that are big hits at my house: Rolled French Bread and Mashed Potato Cinnamon Rolls. Unfortunately, both use white flour and aren't exactly health foods, but sometimes I just want some good old carbs. 1 Tbsp. yeast.

Learning to Play Together. Douglas has never been especially social, so his recent desire to play one on one with Dottie has been really pleasing to watch. Considering how much he did not like her when she came home from the hospital, I wasn't sure this day would ever come! Making faces in the bathroom mirror. Opening and shutting windows. Drum circle in the living room. Notice the haircut? In case you don't believe me that he didn't used to like her. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Learning to Play Together.

In the Kitchen with Melissa. Tuesday, September 13, 2011. The first batch I made I accidently let burn to the bottom of the pan it was ruined. I wasn't going to let a big pan of tomatoes win so I went out and bought more ingredients a week later and tried it again.SUCCESS! 1/2 bushel tomatoes (approx 25 lbs) – peeled and chopped. 1 Tbsp. cayenne pepper (add another Tbsp if you really like it hot.). 4 large onions, chopped. 4 green peppers, chopped. 1 pablano pepper, chopped. 2-3 Tbsp chopped garlic.

In the Kitchen with Melissa. Wednesday, January 11, 2012. Hands down one of my favorite recipes that I gathered while a nanny. Amy was an excellent cook and if memory serves this was the first meal she cooked when I arrived in New Jersey. It is perfect with chicken, tomatoes and mushrooms. 6-8 pcs chicken with bone in (breasts, thighs and legs). 2 Tbsp olive oil. 1 c white wine (can use chicken stock). 2 c canned tomatoes, diced. 1 clove garlic, minced. 8 sliced white mushrooms. In the Kitchen with Melissa. Thursday, November 17, 2011. JD has a co-worker named Longi (I'm not sure that is spelled correct) that made a wonderful drink that JD raved about one night after work. I told him if he got the recipe I would put it somewhere safe and make it again for him sometime. So here it is. 1- 12 oz can crushed pineapple. JD doesn't like coconut so I would omit as did Longi when he shared this with JD. Frozen coconut flakes (only available in oriental stores). Melissa and J.D.

Ryan, Sarah, Duggle, & Dot: December 2011

http://ryanandsarahmc.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html

On Christmas Eve we spent time with the Brian and Kendra McMullin and the Tom and Kellie Bogardus families. The food, mediterranean cuisine, was fantastic, and the kids had such a blast. For the live nativity, Douglas was a shepherd and Dottie was the angel. Angel with a Plug. Missing from this scene is the cat, Cooper, as baby Jesus. The shepherd spent a lot of time putting Linus into an SUV. The grumpy angel wasn't too interested. Timer family pictures are epic. While he "helped" her open it. There are...
