Tuesday, April 6, 2010. I finally found the time to start sewing a simple smock apron. The pattern was featured on the Sew Mama Sew blog. As a sew-along a few years ago. I was triumphantly starting the last phase of construction yesterday when my sewing machine broke. Monday, March 29, 2010. Dez came to visit this weekend, which was a ton of fun. Her bus arrived on Friday morning, and we took the metro back to the apartment to pick up Scott. We spent the day in the city, at the Smithsonian. We were hoping to walk the Tidal Basin, but it was rainy and cold, so we chose indoor activities.
