Monday, April 25, 2011. We had an absolutely wonderful Easter weekend filled with wonderful friends, and so much fun! Lexi had Friday off of school so we started our weekend early. We went to the park Friday morning, and swam with friends in the afternoon, then got to attend a birthday party with our friends from Chris' work. Thursday, May 19, 2011. Ok, so here are the x-rays of Ethan's broken leg. This first one was taken just 2 days after the break, at his first Orthopedic appointment when he got his hard cast put on. You can really see the break on the right picture, but the one on the left shows that the alignment of the bone is still really good as you can barely see the break on that picture. Monday, May 16, 2011. Father and Sons Campout. I know what everyone is thinking with this post. How could Ethan have gone on a Father's and Son's campout with a broken leg? Well, let me just say that nothing slows down my dynamic duo! Both Chris and Ethan were so excited to go that I couldn't say no! Wednesday, June 22, 2011. On June 4, 2011 we welcomed Lucy Leola Rose into our little family. Why couldn't they just break my water and let me sit up the previous night? Oh yeah. the doctor wanted his beauty sleep.). Our Little Lucy was born at 2:36pm on June 4! She weighed a whopping 7 lbs 11 oz (pretty big considering I was only supposed to be 37 weeks and 1 day pregnant! She calmed down right away and spent the first hour and a half of her life just happy to observe the world around her!
