Have been going to Life Drawing classes for several years now and have used various media in that time but for a while now I have been using charcoal. It lends itself easily to creating shadows and the smoothness of skin. Unfortunately the Class I have been going to for so many years has had to fold due to funding cuts. My interest lies in shadows and s. Apes, using strong light against the skin. I enjoy drawing a person's back in particular when there is a twist in the spine and muscle.
