The everyday adventures of Chris, Amy, Connor, and Aaron! Wednesday, May 13, 2015. Today was Donelson's Field Day! We started the day with a picnic lunch on the lawn outside the green hallway, then I got to lead Connor and ten of his classmates through the game stations. The kids had a great time with each of the games, and Connor especially enjoyed the water relay and obstacle course. I'm so glad I got to spend the afternoon with Connor and his friends! Of course, the kids loved it! St Louis Magic House.

The everyday adventures of Chris, Amy, Connor, and Aaron! Saturday, May 2, 2015. Today we went to the "touch-a-truck" event at the Germantown Library. They had all sorts of vehicles that the kids could touch and climb on - ambulances, FedEx truck, garbage truck, MLGW truck, racecars, police cars, and more! They especially liked testing the horns in the trucks and playing catch with the police dog. They also had a book sale, and the boys loved picking out some "new" books! The giant crane / hauler truck.

This photo shows the back door to the house and the original door to the basement. Here, you can see the entrance to the kitchen and the linen closet to the left. These two doorways shall become one. The scaffolding from below. This photo also illustrates the problem with the old stairs, where there was not enough clearance from the bottom steps to the bottom of the steel beam.

Monday, April 15, 2013. Where has the time gone? Landon is now three and acts like he is 13! He is such a sweet boy that loves his mama and thinks hanging out with daddy is the coolest thing ever these days! He is all boy! Some of his favorites are anything involving trains, cars, trucks, etc, being outside, playing soccer and golf, working on puzzles, building "forts" on our couch and our bed and watching any "Cars" or "Toy Story" movie!
