Despite encouragement from many of my best friends, I found excuses to avoid the blog thing. I was thinking we didn't really have anything to blog about. who was I kidding? I am finally able to move around and even go out of the house some. so that is exciting! We are excited that spring football practice has begun and the countdown is on to the first football game this fall. It will be here very soon. WAR EAGLE! Until next time. Chris, Candy, Anna Grace. and Sam! Tuesday, January 6, 2009. We are having a GIRL! We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. We had a relaxing New Year's Day with lots of football. We spent NYE at the Miller's playing Rock Band and watching baby Ella walk. She has just learned to take 5-6 steps at a time and is a joy to observe. Of course we cooked the annual black-eyed peas for New Years, along with mashed potatoes, ham, and cornbread. Yum! For any of you who haven't heard as of yet, we are having a.

Just Us and Some Dogs. Saturday, March 7, 2009. Sunday started off great, we got 3-4 inches of snow in Alabama! Matt, Rusty and I had a great time playing in the snow. Later in the week, Matt had to have some tests run because he has been really sick lately. The doctor discovered that Matt's gall bladder is "diseased" as is not working at all. He will be having it taken out this week and we are so glad. We are just so glad to know what has been causing him to be so sick and lose so much weight.

Just Us and Some Dogs. Tuesday, October 19, 2010. I know it has been a long time since I have blogged, but I am still here. We had a nice summer and are enjoying our fall now. This summer my youngest sister, Katie, got married and it was really beautiful. Some amazing women in my life. More amazing women in my life. She is very different from Rusty, but we love her so much. She and Rusty are getting adjusted to each other and doing well. I will try and blog more, but before I go. WAR EAGLE!

Just Us and Some Dogs. Sunday, April 24, 2011. We received some wonderful news on Good Friday. Evans bone marrow results came back with 0 % leukemic blasts and negative for any leukemic cells! He has 3 years of treatment still, but today's results are evidence of God's healing hand. Thank you for praying for our little warrior. Happy Easter! Abby and I roomed together at Camp War Eagle in 1997 and then we were in the Auburn Band together. Abby was a bridesmaid in our wedding and we love her dearly! She is a great friend and I know I can always count on her. I have not seen her since our wedding, so I know we will have a great time.
