While I attended my conference in the morning, Chris, Avery and my Mom hiked around the island and enjoyed the beach a little. In the afternoon we visited a few of the state/national parks including Haleakala National Park which is home to Maui's massive volcano,. 8216;Iao Valley State Monument, where we took a very short rainy hike. And then came back to our rental car which had been broken into (the low point of the trip).

We started a few posts but didn't finsh them because life got a bit crazy with our new baby girl. Instead, contractions hit hard, starting at only 2.5 minutes apart! Avery is now a healthy, thriving little girl. She will be six months in just two days. She loves to smile and laugh…. And to blow raspberries at us…. We LOVE our little AVERY! Chris and Cherie's blog! Our life and many adventures. Monday, March 26, 2012. A couple of weeks ago, one of the physicians in my office passed away unexpetedly. Dr. Greg Nielsen was very welcoming when I joined the practice two and a half years ago. As a brand new nurse practitioner, I had a ton of questions and often turned to him for advice. He was always very patient and helped me out with a tough diagnosis on countless occasions. Last week, a local news station profiled his life. Here.

Saturday, June 29, 2013. Had to get a picture of the sweet noose I made for a play my students put on. And, of course, Asha wanted in on the action. De tal palo, tal astilla. Asha was very proud to be sporting her first bigote. Daddy's first attempt at a ponytail (not bad, right? Our little community playground is a favorite destination. Wednesday, August 15, 2012. España en el corazón. One of asha's favorite places in spain! Abrazos for one and all. Perfectly chubby dimpled hand. Lots of lulu and 'buela love. I wonder how many pictures we'll have of me pinching this kid's earlobes? Loves drinking from goblets . who doesn't? Trolley rides in lisbon. Spaniards kind of like futból . just a little. La alhambra - an incredible masterpiece. Most kissable. lips. ever. Just add two flamenco guitarists and a soulfull singer. She is pure joy.

We drove to Montana. Destination: Glacier National Park. Avery really enjoyed splashing around in the hot springs. We arrived early the next morning. Glacier National Park is AMAZING! I absolutely LOVE my class and am excited about what I'll be doing. I think the majority of the people in the class are getting their CNA just to move on to something else, but a couple of us can look past the poop clean-up, and know that. And now we CELEBRATE! We met at Trader Joe's. Chris was the new guy at work, and Chey was just ending her relationship, so she wasn't interested! But several months later she happened to invite him to her family camping trip, and they saw each other in a new light. We had our first kiss, and shortly after, we fell in love. We can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together. Right After they went zip lining in Honduras, Chris kneeled down and asked her right there! And now we CELEBRATE!
