Saturday, April 7, 2012. With April came Easter. Kiley got to participate in two Easter egg hunts this year. Her first one was at the Saratoga Springs City egg hunt. She was so excited about the candy in the eggs she did not bother to pick many up. Which I was just fine with. Dying Easter eggs. She did not want to hold still so I did not get any really good pictures, but she did have a ton of fun. We even ate most of the eggs. Kiley really likes hard boiled eggs. Posted by Evelyn Porter.

Friday, August 3, 2012. After spending some time in Hawaii Chris and the kids went back to California with his parents while I finished out my time in Hawaii. Playing at the beach. Saturday, August 11, 2012. Here are some pictures of the run. It was such a good time. The girls had a BLAST, although they were quite tired by the time the day was all over. We let the kids get out of the stroller and walk through the color stations so they could get splashed as well. After the run, just waiting for the first of the color celebrations! Getting closer to being able to throw their color packets in the air. Throwing their color packets at each other. Two very tired, but happy girls.

Saturday, June 30, 2012. Just before leaving for Hawaii we went to the Melo Family Reunion (June 28th and 29th). It is always nice to be able to spend time with the Melo extended family. I did not get very many pictures this year. Here are a couple of the Melo grandchildren that were able to make it to Shawn's birthday party at McDonalds. Somehow they ended up with a lot of blonde grandchildren. Clinton, Grandpa, and Aunt Karen. Clinton was not so sure about the four-wheeler. Posted by Evelyn Porter.

Monday, July 23, 2012. We were lucky to spend a couple of weeks in Hawaii in July. Chris, his parents, and the kids had a lot of fun. I was there for Navy Reserve duty so I had fun when I could. We stayed in a little two bedroom duplex that was right on the beach. It was a great place to stay. View from the Lanai of our beach cottage. Kiley feeding the ocean sand. This and jumping the waves were her favorite things to do. Clinton loved playing in the sand. He was not as keen on the water. Our 1 year old.

Not sure what is going on here, just a crazy face to go with a crazy after nap hairdo. Laurie loves shoes and will wear any shoes she can get her hands on, including Kenzie's. The girls right after hair fixing. Laurie also loves to sit inside containers of any sort, luckily this one was already empty or else toys would have been thrown every where to make room for her.

So here they are, the cutie pies that Grammy wanted to see from so far away. This was taken yesterday right before church. Sunday, March 17, 2013. Fun With the Melos. Amy, 6 weeks old. The girls were enjoying some fresh air yesterday. Laura playing with a medicine ball, it doesn't look nearly as heavy as it is. Kenzie, following in her father's footsteps. (Paul is an avid soccer fan, for those not in the know. He played in high school and is very good at it.). This is post shower, pre hair comb. We sure have fun on the weekends when Daddy is home! Kenzie looks so old! Amy is such a cutie! So neat to catch up.
