My Two Pence Worth: September 2008
http://twopencetrouble.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
My Two Pence Worth. Wednesday, September 17, 2008. My sweet little boy. Andrew (in a very apologetic voice): Mommy, it's okay. I'm sorry. I love you. Me: It's okay Andrew. I just feel sick today. ADC: I'm sorry that you are sick. Maybe you will feel better when Daddy gets home. ADC: It's light outside and you have a fan on. Those are nice things. And you have a picture on your wall. That's nice. And you have baby Joshua in your tummy and he loves you too. I brought you a diet coke! The love of learning.

My Two Pence Worth: May 2010
http://twopencetrouble.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
My Two Pence Worth. Thursday, May 20, 2010. Human perspective on death. I have a special compassion for parents who lost their children or children that lose their parents. I can imagine the incredible grief and sorrow that comes with this kind of loss. Some friends from church lost their 2 year old a couple of years ago and my heart aches for them so incredibly. One of the things that the Dad says is "None of us are promised tomorrow.". Wednesday, May 19, 2010. My thoughts on finding birth parents.

Adventures of an overseas family. Friday, December 10, 2010. I'd Like to be a Christmas Tree. There is going to be a multi-language multi-congregation Christmas program next weekend at church. Sounds exciting! But we thought we were going camping (which has now been canceled : so Josiah will not be in the program. He has enjoyed the practices during "Friday School" though. He even learned one of the songs and motions. Just in case you can't understand the words:. I’d like to be a Christmas Tree. Isn't it...

My Two Pence Worth: February 2010
http://twopencetrouble.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
My Two Pence Worth. Saturday, February 20, 2010. The fog has lifted. The Fog has lifted…. There are just a handful of people that know that the past three months have really been hard for me. I have been going through a severe depression even though nothing in my life was wrong. There was no tragedy, no death, no misfortune. Everything in my life was the same.wonderful husband, beautiful children, food on the table, roof over my head. So why so down? Why was I crying for no reason? Philippians 1: 6 Being...

Team Cavanagh: Da Bears
http://teamcavanagh.blogspot.com/2008/07/da-bears.html
Tuesday, July 29, 2008. Black bears are one of the many types of wildlife that make their home in the Catskills. And throughout my childhood, it was always a big deal if someone were to actually see one. We knew that they were around, but they mostly stayed away from populated areas unless there was a drought. So one night we were playing S categories. We told Katie the next morning thinking that she would share in our excitement. A real live bear at our house! Definitely an adolescent bear.

Little Morties: Birthday Reflections
http://littlemorties.blogspot.com/2012/01/birthday-reflections.html
Thursday, January 5, 2012. Today my darling baby boy is 2 years old! Celebrating him and looking at old pictures leads me to reflect on the day Samuel was born and the following 6 days he spent in the NICU. Was it something about the c-section? Was it something inside his little body? Eventually I did get to hold my boy. Here his nurse is showing me his face right before I got to have him in my arms for the first time! And as you may imagine, tears flowed freely that day. And today will celebrate his sec...
