Our church is planning to start meeting in a building as a new church in August of this year. We presently have about 20 adults meeting together each Sunday to pray and plan for this new church. We originally started blogging when we were living in Yokkaichi, Mie Japan. Since returning from there, we have sold up and down-sized to an apartment in Corinda. The move was not easy but we trust the living here will be easier. We are missing our family - Chris and Joanna and Phil, Lucy, Kathryn and Toby who are adventuring in London for two years.

Monday, July 27, 2009. Last Thursday night I had the best "date" with my sweet kids! I knew Chandler was up to something because he kept saying "Mommy, I have a secret! He was having the hardest time not telling me what he was up to. Chris had to work, but he took Chandler to get flowers and a gift card to Tokyo so he could "pay" for our date. When Chris left Chandler came downstairs all dressed up and beaming. He said "mommy, I'm taking you on a date! She replied "Umm, because God made me cute, mommy!

Awhile back I was given a book with a recipe that looked like a winner.
