Wednesday, March 31, 2010. The Family Come To Visit. They spent all day yesterday on the roof by the pool. It hit 21 degrees by 5pm which was nice so we grilled some steaks on the BBQ. Family are gone Scanners is here. Friday, April 30, 2010. Family are gone Scanners is here. Well my family went home to Ireland and just got in ahead of the volcano, so they were lucky. I had a 2 week break from visitors and then Scanners arrived on Tuesday at Midnight. We went to The Vortex last night for dinner which was class as always. Probably the best burgers I have ever had. A brief over view of what has happened since I got back to Ireland in October:. 1 Tried out for the Ireland Indoor Lacrosse team up in Belfast. 2 Made the team. We are going to the World Cup in Prague in May. 3 Sent out about 100 job applications. 4 Got offered a job. 5 Got the offer revoked after I asked too many questions about the role. 7 Did 3 interviews.

Good news for anyone who bought shorts and shirts. Tuesday, May 17, 2011. We have arrived in Pardubice, a town about 2 hours outside of Prague, for our training camp. We are training at a local hockey rink. The main rink has a 15,000 capacity and we will be playing a warm-up game there against Australia this Thursday. We just finished our second two hour practice of the day. Feet are a little sore, but the ankle is holding up well. First warm up game is tomorrow against Pardubice. Thursday, May 12, 2011.
