Parks Place: Just another day....
http://parksupdate.blogspot.com/2013/03/just-another-day.html
Sunday, March 31, 2013. When Daddy decided it was time to do a little landscaping, he quickly had a little apprentice jumping in to assist. Little did she know they would be out there all day tearing out all the landscaping that we had! This girl will work hard if it means she gets to hang out and do work with her Daddy! Manual labor is tough. Time for a snack. And here's Mary Elizabeth doing what she does best- hanging around, chewing on stuff! Just another day in the life.. View my complete profile.

Parks Place: O Christmas Tree...
http://parksupdate.blogspot.com/2013/03/o-christmas-tree.html
Sunday, March 31, 2013. Mary Elizabeth enjoyed her first tree trimming experience. Ellen and Daddy had some serious conversations about how to tackle the lights on the tree. She had some strong opinions about what should go where! After many years, I finally found a tree topper I liked. It was a little Christmas miracle! Working on hanging ornaments. Parks Place: It's pumpkin carving time!!!
http://parksupdate.blogspot.com/2013/03/its-pumpkin-carving-time.html
Thursday, March 28, 2013. It's pumpkin carving time! We were all set to carve this year's pumpkin! I had higher hopes for this year after being left to do last year's all on my own. Ellen was older, more eager to plan out the carving, more excited about it- surely she'd help me out this year, right? She was all for it until we got to the "pull the guts out part" and she was done! She was happy to oversee the process but there was no getting her hands dirty! We decided on this "creepy guy" for our design.

Parks Place: Six Months Old!
http://parksupdate.blogspot.com/2013/03/six-months-old.html
Saturday, March 30, 2013. Someone is six months old! This one just cracks me up :). Don't mind the dinner-stained onesie and the vacuum cleaner in the background of the next few. Oh, the drooling! A series in "learning to crawl". I think we caught her in a really good mood! I can be laid back, too. Happy half-birthday sweet baby girl! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Parks Place: What do you get when you cross a little monkey with a T-Rex?
http://parksupdate.blogspot.com/2013/03/what-do-you-get-when-you-cross-little.html
Thursday, March 28, 2013. What do you get when you cross a little monkey with a T-Rex? A Parks Halloween, of course! We took some photos in the front yard while we waited for it to get dark and for Daddy to come home from work.. These photos remind a little of the ones from Ellen's first Halloween. Once Daddy got home, we had a few minor wardrobe adjustments and we were on our way! Kids from the cul-de-sac. This girl had a plan.. And the night was a success.. Even for our little monkey! Dum dum da dum.

Parks Place: March 2013
http://parksupdate.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 31, 2013. Someone is ready to dance! Posing with Daddy before her first recital. Ellen and Grandma Nancy. A little quiet time before heading backstage. Putting on her tap shoes."BY MYSELF! A couple of very rare "Ellen and Mama" shots. We ran into our BFF Emma Claire on our way backstage. There was no photography allowed during the show so I have no good shots of her in action, but let me say it was pretty adorable! And, our prima ballerina receiving her fans after the show. Working on hangi...

Parks Place: Mr. & Mrs. Janes
http://parksupdate.blogspot.com/2013/03/mr-mrs-janes.html
Saturday, March 23, 2013. Mr and Mrs. Janes. The big day was finally here and although there was some questionable weather, everyone was excited to get this show on the road! Ellen and Daddy right before the big walk. One of my favorites. Getting a little nervous :). She did great but I think she may have moved slower than a snail! Although I give her credit- I would have never done it! I hardly wanted to walk down the aisle in front of everyone at my own wedding! Giving the bride away. And back to Julie!

Parks Place: Visit with Santa 2012
http://parksupdate.blogspot.com/2013/03/visit-with-santa-2012.html
Sunday, March 31, 2013. Visit with Santa 2012. This year, we decided to head to Cheekwood to check out Santa and the reindeer. Mary Elizabeth was not impressed :). When we got there, we realized that we should have arrived early and got on the waiting list because there were no more slots available to see Santa. So, we decided to check out the other activities instead! Sitting in the sleigh (exposure is completely off but it's the only one of the 2 of them! Playing in the treehouse. Visit with Santa 2012.

Parks Place: Pumpkin Pie
http://parksupdate.blogspot.com/2013/03/pumpkin-pie.html
Saturday, March 30, 2013. Ellen decided this was going to be the year for making our own pumpkin pie! We gathered our ingredients. And got to work! There was lots of mixing and stirring. And mixing and stirring. Until the pies were ready to go into the oven. Once they were done, someone was a little bit protective over her creations! But, I have to say, they were pretty yummy! Good job, Ellen! And, here's Mary Elizabeth while we were slaving away baking our pie:. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
