Chris and Sharon's Travel Blog. Sunday, 31 August 2008. Settling into Sydney has been delightful. We are by the way not settled at all, just had our bags in one place for more than three nights so we feel like we are putting down roots already. We have also made a terrible faux pas in commuting and general pavement walking, so much so that we got told off. To travel on the tube escalators in London you stand on the right, right? I always love it when I realise a dream and standing there last night was a very close second to when I realised my dream of being in the front row of a Take That concert - not sure what could ever beat that one. We are leaving Sydney on Monday morning and heading to Hong Kong and China! We are bummed to be leaving what has become our home and the good friends we have made here.
