While waiting in the chilly pitch darkness for the grill to heat up (the things we do for a good steak) I pulled out some marshmallows and hot cider, and we built an impromptu family memory. Maybe you won’t enjoy these photos as much as I do, but I think almost anyone would admit he is kinda cute. The following photos were taken about a week earlier. What kind of crazy parent takes photos of her child crying? The one whose child’s cute little face looks like this when he’s crying. That’s who.

But as time ticked down nothing came in. This past week Joel and I went shopping for our family at the Galt Flee Market and got gifts for our family and the family that had the fire. It wasn't much.
