Since Bryan was not been hired in the spring, I knew in May that Christmas was going to be lean, so we had started early accumulating a few little things for the kids. Sunday, January 20, 2013. 10 beautiful birthday gifts. Yesterday was my birthday, and it was a lovely day. In the days leading up to it, I was quite certain my husband had forgotten. There had been a lot going on both on the homefront and at work (he starts Tuesday as Hillfield's Interim Principal). As Fancy Nancy would say, interim. Is a fancy word for substitute. He's in the overwhelmed stage right now, but I know he is going to be amazing, and we have hopes that this will become permanent in the summer.
