4e D&D is not D&D. November 7, 2008. I have nothing particularly against 4e D&D (I am currently enjoy playing in a campaign), but I have to say it isn’t D&D. That isn’t a bad thing, it just has changed so much that it is no longer the same game. Which is okay, as I like playing all kinds of games: D&D, Call of Cthulhu, Runequst, etc, etc. Combat is not fast in 4E. I’m sure some of it is familiarity, but I have found that combats actually seem to take longer in 4E than in 3.5. December 22, 2005. 8211; cre...

October 3, 2005. Ah, sweet Serenity. Yup, I saw Serenity this weekend. Actually, I saw it twice, one with Sandy and once with our oldest son. I couldn’t have enjoyed the movie more. It was classic Joss with great dialog and an engaging plot. As my friend Rick said, the only downside was that it would have been a cool second season…. Ah well, perhaps, if enough of you go out to see it, there will be serenity II…. September 30, 2005. So, please, if you haven’t checked out BG, please do!

Here is the stuff we like owning. The insurance company wants records of these types of things. Otherwise they just give you a blanket cheque if anything happens and I can guarantee that the cheque will not cover replacement costs. So, for insurance reasons, we maintain an off-site record of our beloved books. We also have our DVDs. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Art of Sandy Schumann. Michael's Camino de Santiago. Category Archives: Camino de Santiago. Walking the Camino de Santiago. 25 km and Still Alive. August 19, 2005. The first third was not too bad at all. I celebrated the one-third mark with a five-minute rest in the parking lot of a small road-side restaurant. The second third was bit more effort, even so I was glad to get to my planned rest stop to eat some pita, cheese and an apple while letting my feet rest and my shoes and sock air. August 1, 2005. So, that’s it. 2008. The year I’m walking Spain. I’m g...
