We found our way through though, and I think we only back tracked a few times. I know we made one full circle because we passed the same dead deer in the middle of the corn maze. It smelled horrid. Saturday, November 5, 2011. After many, many hours of constructive playtime, our beloved rainbow rice bit the dust one day courtesy of a couple of. It went down something like this. I was busy vacuuming, happily humming a little tune in my ignorant bliss. I finished my vacuuming, and turned the vacuum off. I heard much shrieking and happy laughter that had previously been drown out by said vacuum. I also heard the distinct sound of grains of rice pelting against floors and walls. Monday, February 13, 2012. Preschool didn't start until after Owen's birthday, so we did another round of celebrating once school was in full swing for him. To say he was excited about his un-birthday, would be a considerable understatement. He's pretty even-keel and doesn't show a whole lot of excitement about things, but he was happy about being the birthday boy at school. This is what Owen does when you tell him to smile. This is the face Ava gives when you tell her to smile. The cupcakes looked yummy!
