Tuesday, November 16, 2010. Some pictures from our future site. Our new town is called Demenet. It is in the foothills of the High Atlas, 100k east of Marrakesh. We will be going to live there at the end of next week, after our big language test. I did not take any good pictures of the hole town, but here are some snapshots of our visit. Tuesday, November 16, 2010. Tomorrow is a big holiday in Morocco. It celebrates when god allowed Abraham to kill a sheep instead of his son. We commemorate it by having all the married (Muslim) men slaughter a sheep. We eat the funny parts first: liver, stomach, kidney, feet, tong, eyes. I have even heard some rumors about testicles and brains. I will try to post some good pictures before thanksgiving. Some pictures from our future site.
