A collection of illustrators based in Manchester. Tuesday, 22 November 2011. We Had A Visitor. On the way down to the studio I had to have a wander through the Northern Quarter. It's such a refreshing place with new art work popping up all the time. Shortly after seeing the giant finch I stumbled across a Public House guarded by two ever faithful hounds. The photograph doesn't do them justice, they were huge. It's not that often we get visitors in our studio,. It's something we all relish here at 310.

We decided to each do an illustration for Halloween and, considering we only had a couple of days to get it done, I think we have all done really well. We are going to make this a regular thing for each season, the next one being Christmas, with the intention of getting them printed as cards. Stephen's image is below. Tuesday, 18 December 2012. Busy busy busy, so this is a quick art dump and promo thing. Sorry, I don't like using you like a cheap hooker. Not that I use hookers. Over here, we call them prozzies. Once again, I've entered the murky waters of Threadless because the savage beatings I received in the last two attempts weren't enough. This time, however, my entry isn't as part of a contest so I assume the tactical voting will be left well alone and I might just stand a chance. It's called TV Don't Die.

Thursday, 28 June 2012. Well, my submission to The Dandy was returned as unsuccessful. Apparently, the editor liked the art though, which is encouraging! So now to retool it a little and submit the strip to The Phoenix, another kid-friendly comic which I wish was sold in shops other than Waitrose. Grr.
