So, more and more as I do my American consumer duty and buy things I may or may not need- and might I say, these days, it is mostly need due to budgetary constraints- combined with my increasing desire to not only waste less, but also consume less from the start (shopping cart to trash can), the one object that has become the object of my ire is soap. Seriously, what an utter waste of packaging!

Friday, May 29, 2009. Sorry about the lack of updates! On Wednesday I had a meeting with my grad school adviser and it looks like I'm going to start the master's in the spring after taking one semester of classes in the fall as an undergraduate. This way I can take more credits and won't have to pay graduate tuition for undergraduate-level classes.
